APOGEP is the portuguese chapter of IPMA and is enrolled in the development and growth of project management as a major profession with a significant role in modern society Our association was born in 1998 as a national chapter of IPMA (International Project Management Association), a world reference in project management.
APOGEP's appearence is justified by the raising needs of organizations and managers of one institution that could support their interest in the acquisition of modern management techniques and metodologies as well as the certification of project managers professionals.

Our activity is based on:

• Design and execution of the National Baseline Competence program;
• Organization and promotion of national and international events;
• Constitution of one project management community;
• Publication of national and international news about project management.
